Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to apply herbicides and pesticides to crops, while maintaining accurate records and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops according to established protocols and guidelines
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing repairs as needed
  • Keep accurate records of applications, including acreage, chemicals used, and any issues encountered
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain pesticide applicator certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle
  • Class A or B CDL required
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment

As a Field Equipment Operator, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often in outdoor settings with varying weather conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
