LC Staffing is seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join their team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns, including Individual, Partnership, Corporation, Non-Profit, Trust, and Estate. You will also prepare and review work papers, trial balances, adjusting journal entries, depreciation schedules, and book-to-tax differences. Additionally, you will provide QuickBooks services and prepare and review year-end 1099s. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Master's degree in Accounting and CPA, or four years of related experience and/or training. You will also need strong computer skills, including extensive use of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also essential. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for accounting, we encourage you to apply.
