POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Cytology Specialist operates autonomously to analyze and categorize cellular specimens in preparation for diagnostic evaluation by the Pathologist.



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Completion of formal education likely evidenced by a bachelor's degree in cytotechnology; ASCP certification or eligibility; proficient communication skills with colleagues and medical professionals; adeptness in handling glass slides.




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Physical requirements encompass the ability to move, navigate, maintain a stationary position, and manage steps for up to eight hours daily; color differentiation; visual clarity.
