Job Title: Cytotechnologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at UK Healthcare. As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory procedures under the direction of the Cytopathology Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform primary screening of cytology slides with accuracy
  • Conduct immediate adequacy evaluations for aspirate and touch prep slides
  • Accurately record all procedures and interpretations using our computer system
  • Stay up-to-date on new procedures and policy changes in the Cytology procedure manual
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for Professional License; Registration or Certification
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment onsite slide screening test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ThinPrep and Hologic imaging system experience
  • 3 years cytotechnology experience
