The Hospice Sales Representative plays a crucial role in fostering business connections, driving referrals, and executing sales initiatives within the designated territory. This position requires effective communication with healthcare providers, patients, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate qualified referrals to achieve admission targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and care facilities.
  • Support the documentation process for patient admissions.
  • Assess patient referrals to determine hospice eligibility.
  • Provide education to referrers, patients, and families regarding hospice care options.
  • Coordinate patient requirements with the healthcare team.
  • Build and sustain client relationships.
  • Collaborate with referral sources and institutional staff.
  • Develop and oversee business strategies and target lists.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospice sales.
  • A well-established network within Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, and the Healthcare industry.
  • Strong relationships with Physicians, Home Health agencies, and Hospitals.
