About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Hospice Sales Consultant to join our team at Good Shepherd Hospice. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting public and professional awareness of our hospice services while increasing census and territory growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate strategies to promote awareness of hospice philosophy in the territory.
  • Conduct in-services on hospice services for physicians, civic groups, churches, nursing homes, and other appropriate groups.
  • Utilize technology to manage sales activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain high call average per week and develop strong follow-up skills.
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners for contract negotiation.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals consistently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and family information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical sales experience, preferably in hospice, home health, SNF, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of sales results and high character.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM programs.
