Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, striving to anticipate patient needs, and resolving them proactively.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects, translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.

Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year, and other certifications may be required during employment. A Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State is also required, along with an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
