Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Biomedical Sciences Professor to join our team at New York Institute of Technology. As an Assistant/Associate Professor, you will be responsible for building a research program in neurodevelopmental or neuroendocrine research and securing external grant funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a research program in neurodevelopmental or neuroendocrine research
  • Secure external grant funding to support research initiatives
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring students in the College of Medicine
  • Collaborate with faculty members to build a research program as a core member of the Biomedical Research Imaging Innovation Center (BRIIC) initiative
Qualifications
  • PhD, MD, DO, or comparable doctoral degree
  • Experience in cardiovascular, cancer, and neuroscience research
  • Strengths in adult human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) research, iPSC-derived organoid research, and neuroendocrine research
  • Experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging for basic research is preferred
