Inventory Management Supervisor

We are in search of a meticulous, proactive, results-oriented individual with exceptional communication abilities and a robust work ethic to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and vibrant setting. This role involves ensuring that customer build specifications are clearly understood and communicated, gathering feedback, and responding appropriately to requests. You will manage and implement established processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the inventory management team within a high-volume production environment, applying best practices to fulfill internal customer needs.

Ensure the team achieves key performance indicators (KPIs).

Maintain accurate inventory processes, reporting, and confirmation systems.

Guarantee that all inventory reports are precise and current.

Identify daily challenges and propose solutions to satisfy internal customer demands.

Comprehend the logistics and staging of materials and their relationship to the Material Planning System (MPS).

Facilitate daily communication with the team to clarify work requirements.

Foster clear communication across all departments, collaborating to meet internal customer expectations.

Escalate issues related to production schedules or customer needs as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar capacity.

At least 5 years of experience in a production setting.

Strong communication skills are essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with various inventory transaction types, lane assignments, bin locations, staging, etc.

Detail-oriented, including the retention of records and communications, and process documentation.

Ability to learn and understand the processes, capabilities, and limitations of the internal planning system (MPS).

Capability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include continuous standing, operating various freight-moving equipment, lifting, and twisting.

Willingness to adapt to business needs, which may involve extended hours, occasional evenings and weekends, and potential travel for meetings or training.
