Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at DCH Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition services to patients, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, and nutrition intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to identify patients at risk for malnutrition
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Current Alabama Dietitian license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
