About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Licensed Surveyor to join our team at Huitt-Zollars. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various surveying projects, including construction, boundary, and topographic surveys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and oversight for surveying projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic mapping.
  • Instrument Management: Manage and maintain all surveying instruments and equipment, including drones, scanners, levels, and GPS equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all surveying work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Licensure: RPLS licensure in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in surveying, with a strong background in construction, boundary, and topographic surveys.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and technical skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
