Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Licensed Surveyor to join our team at AKP Recruiting. As a key member of our land development team, you will be responsible for managing survey staff, providing technical oversight, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support a team of senior surveyors and assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure project success.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of surveying, including topographic mapping, boundary surveys, and construction staking.
  • Manage and maintain survey equipment, including drones, scanners, levels, and GPS devices.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure accuracy and precision in surveying data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in surveying.
Requirements:
  • RPLS licensure in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure.
  • 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in construction and topography.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Trimble software and equipment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
