About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. As an HVAC Sales Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with customers, office staff, and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for replacements or repairs.
  • Complete proposed work as quoted and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in on-call assignments and backup as required.
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop a positive attitude and promote a professional and friendly work environment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Sell equipment, accessories, and other promotional materials from the company.
Requirements
  • Must have sales experience and be able to learn to determine residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
  • Understanding of residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and install supporting IAQ products according to manufacturer's specifications and applicable codes.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to climb and work on ladders.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
