Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at The Boyd Group. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Assessment and Repair: Inspect vehicles to identify damage and develop repair plans. Perform repairs using a variety of techniques and tools, including cutting guns, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs meet our high standards by inspecting vehicles after repair and making any necessary adjustments.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and ensuring that they are satisfied with the repair process.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to achieve our team's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision; thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies; ability to use tools required for the trade.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds; must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions; must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
Compensation:

$60,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for advancement and professional development.
