Job Summary

The Account Coordinator is a key member of the PD Instore team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding job status, production schedules, and delivery dates.
  • Job Coordination
    • Partner with sales staff to review and organize jobs, ensuring accurate and complete information is provided to the production team.
    • Compare job specifications with estimates and communicate any discrepancies to customers and sales staff.
  • Communication
    • Facilitate communication between customers, sales staff, and production personnel to ensure seamless job execution.
    • Keep accurate records of customer contacts, job status, and production schedules.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Identify and resolve problems or issues that may arise during job execution, escalating to management as needed.
    • Develop and implement solutions to improve job efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth job execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical or business degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
