Position Purpose

The Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of sludge and dewatering treatment equipment within an industrial facility, ensuring the purification of water to meet specified customer standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prior experience in a relevant role and environment is preferred.
  2. Consistently demonstrate the capability to learn and independently operate assigned machinery and equipment, achieving or surpassing processing and quality benchmarks.
  3. Exhibit proficiency in operating various equipment, including pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, mixers, and testing apparatus.
  4. Collaborate effectively within a team and show readiness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in a related field is advantageous.
  • Ability to utilize computer programs for process control is essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English, including operational and safety instructions, as well as performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and willingness to accept new challenges.
  • Availability for rotational 24-hour emergency on-call duties if required.

Certifications and Licenses

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check is required.
