Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks for clients.
- Deliver trays to clients in their designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas post-meal service.
- Support the preparation of salads, desserts, and other dishes.
- Serve beverages and assist with meal service.
- Prepare between-meal snacks and clean work areas after shifts.
Operational Duties:
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and record temperatures of storage units.
- Manage stock levels and organize supplies appropriately.
- Set up and manage tray lines for meal service.
- Ensure compliance with dietary orders and offer menu substitutions as needed.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Clean and operate kitchen equipment including dish machines, mixers, and ovens.
- Check and maintain chemical levels for cleaning supplies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to respond to concerns with a caring attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- This role requires regular walking, standing, and the ability to lift and handle kitchen equipment.
