Job Title: Help Desk / Service Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Help Desk / Service Coordinator is a key role within ITVantix LLC, responsible for providing exceptional customer support and ensuring the efficient utilization of internal and field technical resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for customers, fielding service requests and coordinating with technical support teams to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Pre-process service requests, schedule internal and field technical resources, and monitor resource schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Develop and maintain detailed service tickets, ensuring accurate documentation of customer systems, user permissions, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop and prioritize the help desk workflow, dispatching tickets to responsible parties, including 3rd party vendors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of training or certification in IT support.
  • Two years of experience in an IT support role, with advanced computer skills and intermediate decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a willingness to develop professionally and maintain current knowledge in a constantly changing environment.
