Job Summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our food distribution team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Load and unload freight, verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
