Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and/or unloading products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer, and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Load and unload products from trailers, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto trailers.
  • Ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
