Job Title: Class A Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and transport items into designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
