Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling and managing benefit solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Sources and closes new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, networking, and emails to achieve assigned quota.
  • Understands customer needs and presents benefits performance assessment to prospects.
  • Creates and develops the benefits performance assessment.
  • Research accounts, identifies key players, and generates interest.
  • Maintains and expands database of prospects, contacts, and mailing lists.
  • Attends relevant events in-house and with outside training to promote the potential to generate new business.
  • Maintains personal networks and participates in professional organizational events.
  • Revisits prospects that were not closed on the first appointment through relationship building.
  • Maintains existing client relationships by working with AEs for client renewal, strategy, and plan performance meetings with clients.
  • Expands and enhances selling techniques and practices to increase efficiency and results.
  • Calls existing and potential clients to secure attendance at seminars and workshops.
  • Makes follow-up calls to specific marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in outside sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Life and Health license to be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
  • Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
  • 401(k) plan with employer contributions.
  • Flexible PTO policy with 2 weeks of PTO for the first year and open PTO after your 1-year anniversary.
  • Sixteen hours of paid Volunteer Time Off annually.
