Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on semiconductor equipment, ensuring compliance with factory standards and optimal functionality.
- Guide customers in the operation and upkeep of equipment, emphasizing best practices and safety protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects, fostering strong relationships and ensuring positive experiences.
- Execute complex repairs and maintenance tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Document equipment errors and performance issues to streamline maintenance processes.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and deliver regular updates.
- Facilitate training sessions for customer staff to enhance their proficiency in equipment operation.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to diagnose and resolve equipment challenges, promoting knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency or familiarity with optical systems, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanics, or chemicals.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing tools is essential; mechanical skills are preferred.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible work schedules.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
- Domestic travel may be required.
- Knowledge of Haz/Com regulations is necessary.
