Compensation: The expected salary range for this position is $92,210 - $138,080.

Role Responsibilities:
Are you looking for a role that involves working with semiconductor manufacturing equipment? In this position, you will provide customer support for the installation, repair, and maintenance of photolithography semiconductor equipment, primarily in designated regions.

This role necessitates a full-time presence at your assigned locations and requires adherence to customer policies, which may include health and safety protocols.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on semiconductor systems, ensuring compliance with factory standards and optimal functionality.
  • Educate customers on the operation and upkeep of system equipment, promoting a solid understanding of best practices and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects, such as installations and major component replacements, fostering strong relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Independently and collaboratively execute complex repairs, maintenance, and replacements of equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing operational questions, troubleshooting equipment issues, and resolving technical challenges to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and document equipment errors and performance issues to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and deliver regular updates on progress.
  • Facilitate training sessions for customer personnel to ensure proficiency in equipment service and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to diagnose and resolve equipment issues, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience or knowledge in optics, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanics, or chemicals is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic testing tools is required; mechanical skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment for extended periods.
  • Domestic travel may be necessary.
  • Knowledge of Haz/Com regulations is required.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires continuous physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Additional assistance is required for lifting heavier items. Employees may also need to work at a computer for extended periods.

Employees must be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone. Mental alertness is essential. Comfort in a cleanroom environment is necessary, along with potential exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures.
