Job Overview

The Senior Technical Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical support to customers and internal teams within the Semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for semiconductor products and systems, ensuring seamless customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer problems.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Lead root-cause analysis for critical technical issues, driving continuous improvement of products and support processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles, facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise.
  • Product Performance Analysis: Conduct product performance analysis and provide feedback to R&D teams, informing product development and improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in customer engagement activities, including onsite support when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Testing and Validation: Assist in product testing and validation activities, ensuring products meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Training and Development: Contribute to the development and delivery of technical training programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of junior support engineers.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical support within the semiconductor industry.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, strong understanding of semiconductor technologies and industry standards.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, superior customer service and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certifications: Certifications in relevant technical areas (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA A+).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Travel: Ability to travel occasionally for customer support and product testing.
