Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Care Manager to enhance our services at Caring Senior Service. This role involves delivering exceptional care to our clients while also guiding and developing fellow caregivers within our organization. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive unparalleled care and that our caregivers are equipped with the necessary skills and confidence to thrive in their positions.

Qualifications:

In accordance with State Regulations, candidates must possess certification as a CNA or be a registered Nurse in Georgia. We have successfully welcomed retired LPNs and RNs seeking a more manageable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively recruit and hire qualified candidates as per the office recruitment strategy, maintaining a robust pool of caregivers to accommodate client needs and anticipated growth.
  • Provide training and mentorship to both new and existing caregivers, focusing on best practices in care delivery, effective communication, and strategies for managing difficult situations.
  • Collaborate with management to create and implement training programs and continuous education opportunities for caregivers.
  • Regular travel to client residences is a requirement of this position.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for caregivers, offering constructive feedback and coaching to foster their professional development.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by performing assessments, formulating care plans, and coordinating with team members for seamless transitions.
  • Match caregivers with clients and manage scheduling effectively, ensuring introductions are made between clients and their caregivers.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and their families, delivering outstanding customer service and addressing any concerns that may arise.
  • Act as a conduit between caregivers and management, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing our services and processes.
  • Deliver hands-on assistance to seniors, including support with daily living activities (ADLs), medication oversight, meal preparation, and companionship.

Work Schedule:

  • Standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required.
  • On-call responsibilities will be shared with other staff members.
