Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Care Manager at Caring Senior Service. This role involves delivering exceptional care to our clients while also guiding and developing fellow caregivers. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and that our caregivers are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
Qualifications:
In accordance with state regulations, candidates must hold a valid CNA or nursing license in Georgia. We have successfully engaged retired RNs seeking a less demanding role than their previous positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively recruit and hire qualified caregivers to align with our office's staffing strategy, ensuring a robust pool of talent to meet client needs.
- Provide training and mentorship to both new and existing caregivers, focusing on best practices in care delivery, effective communication, and strategies for managing difficult situations.
- Collaborate with management to create and implement training initiatives and continuous education for caregivers.
- Regular travel to client residences is a necessary aspect of this role.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations for caregivers, offering constructive feedback and coaching to foster their professional development.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by performing assessments, formulating care plans, and coordinating with team members for seamless transitions.
- Match caregivers with clients and organize schedules accordingly, facilitating introductions between clients and their caregivers.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any concerns that may arise.
- Act as a communication bridge between caregivers and management, sharing insights and recommendations for enhancing our services.
- Provide direct care to seniors, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs), medication management, meal preparation, and companionship.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. On-call responsibilities are also a regular expectation.
