About the Role

This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in financial statements and fixed assets through daily business interactions and job assignments. You will have the opportunity to gain industry knowledge and develop skills in a professional environment.

  • You will assist CVI staff on various projects, tasks, and activities relating to your area of study or coursework.

  • You will utilize good time management skills to effectively and accurately complete work assignments.
  • You will exercise good judgment and knowledge from the classroom setting to apply to a professional work environment.
  • You will apply research techniques, analytical methods, presentation skills, writing skills, and technical knowledge to the workplace.
  • You will adhere to company policies and procedures governing professional staff behavior.
  • You may be responsible for research, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. as part of assigned projects.
  • You may work in several departments to assist with completing additional projects or tasks.
  • You will participate in activities designed for development during your assignment.
  • You will prepare a presentation summarizing your experiences gained through the internship and present to peers and management.
  • You may attend meetings and/or company events.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • You must be working towards an undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minimum of junior or senior status and have taken several related courses to the field.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
