Clinical Quality Technician Job Summary

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

About the Role

The Clinical Quality Technician will play a vital role in supporting our Quality Assurance program by collecting and analyzing clinical data, identifying trends, and implementing improvements. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and analyze clinical data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Work with the QI Coordinator to develop and implement strategies to improve quality metrics.
  3. Conduct chart audits to evaluate if locations are meeting PCMH requirements.
Requirements
  • Candidate must have a current MA certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical experience required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
  • Previous outpatient, primary care experience is required.
  • Maintains annual competencies/nursing skills checklist.
  • Meets all training requirements as required of the position.
  • Possesses knowledge and qualifications necessary to execute all duties as described above under Key Responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including electronic medical records.
  • Skills in planning, organizing, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Knowledge and experience with a strong quality assurance program, gathering and interpreting data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to mediate conflict resolution and to be a change agent based on strong leadership skills.
  • A high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making demonstrated in prior employment positions.
