Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Carter Lumber. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for presenting and selling flooring products to customers, while establishing a rapport with the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to determine customer needs and preferences.
  • Responsible for maintaining and increasing the sales of flooring products.
  • Provide expert advice on product features and benefits to builders and customers.
  • Prepare estimates for flooring products and ensure timely ordering and shipping.
  • Work closely with Operations Specialists to analyze sales opportunities and provide assistance on the jobsite.
  • Oversee installed jobs to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of flooring sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry.
  • Decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of customer service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
