Associate Market Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Market Clinical Director to join our team at ChenMed. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our medical centers, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Directly supervise and manage Clinical Directors within assigned markets, ensuring successful clinical operations and meeting/exceeding plan market earnings.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Regional Presidents and Clinical Leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives and population health management.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Clinical Directors and other clinical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with payers, specialists, and community partners to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage clinical staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty required.
- A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
- Strongly prefer one (1) year's previous experience as Medical Director or equivalent with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
- Board eligibility is required.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar is preferred, but hires may have other sub-specialty training and board certification.
- Current, active license to practice medicine in State of employment.
- High performing physician with a proven track record of clinical leadership experience.
- Must have completed all internal physician training and have attained partnership.
- Experience with population risk management or complex chronic disease care management.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in quality improvement and/or medical/healthcare leadership activities preferred.
