Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Sales Manager to join our team at Breakthru Beverage Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving distribution objectives through effective management and coaching of a team of sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve sales volume and distribution objectives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one sales meetings with sales representatives to communicate sales objectives and programs, identify opportunities, and review performance against goals.
  • Develop and review performance enhancement plans for each sales representative, including training and coaching to address skill deficiencies.
  • Pre-plan sales periods by strategizing with sales representatives on how to achieve goals and objectives, and identifying target accounts.
  • Participate in the associate interview and selection process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing the on-boarding process.
  • Demonstrate strong customer orientation by maintaining relationships with key accounts, identifying account opportunities, and resolving customer complaints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales.
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.
  • Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion, as well as customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to hold a Solicitor's Permit.
  • Understanding of Wine and Spirits.
Competencies
  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
  • Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine.
