Senior Accountant Job Description

Solomon Page is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to contribute to our client's dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, experience in the oil and gas industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
  • Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Oil and Gas experience.
