Front Desk Representative

At Courtyard Morgan Hill, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, rates, and promotions, and communicate this information to guests.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and report preparation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in hotel software systems.
