Position: Quantitative Risk Associate Director


Underground Administration is on the lookout for a skilled Quantitative Risk Associate Director to enhance our innovative team.


Compensation:
Up to $185,000 base salary with a potential annual bonus of 40%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain proprietary fixed income risk models and analytical tools.
  • Perform quantitative research and analysis to support model creation and ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Provide quantitative risk insights to various business units.
  • Create and refine model prototypes.
  • Oversee model risk management initiatives and collaborate with the Risk Technology team.
  • Ensure the availability of essential data sources for model development and analysis.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial market risk management and quantitative modeling within the Financial Services or Banking sector.
  • Strong foundation in advanced mathematics and statistics.
  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
  • Experience in modeling fixed income securities, including treasury and mortgage-backed securities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with model risk management standards.
  • Understanding of financial regulations pertaining to risk management.

This position offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of up to $185,000 and a potential annual bonus of 40%, contingent on experience. The role includes a hybrid work model requiring three days per week on-site.
