Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott LLP (PBFCM) is seeking a dedicated Litigation Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with litigation processes to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Prepare and electronically file legal documents with appropriate courts.
  • Draft various correspondence as required.
  • Organize and maintain documents using document management software.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Update and manage databases, including case management systems.
  • Monitor ongoing cases and follow up on pending matters.
  • Track and document correspondence related to case management.
  • Meet deadlines associated with litigation tasks, including collection efforts.
  • Retrieve documents and evidence from relevant locations as needed.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.
  • Experience in a collection law firm is preferred.
  • Three years of professional work experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the litigation process is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Texas E-Filing procedures and document management systems is a plus.

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree or progress towards one is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment:

This position involves:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a computer.
  • On-the-job training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaboration with department supervisors and managers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
  • May involve occasional travel for document retrieval.
