Position Overview

Role Summary: As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the implementation of system engineering methodologies throughout the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful management of engineering processes and configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the integration of system engineering practices across various projects.
  • Facilitate the organization and management of configuration items utilizing advanced requirements management tools.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in system engineering processes.
  • Engage in effective communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Contribute to team discussions and initiatives aimed at process improvement.
  • Timely address technical or scheduling challenges with relevant parties.
  • Support business development efforts and assist in proposal submissions.
  • Oversee technical timelines and budget for designated projects.
  • Collaborate with both commercial and military clients on program definition and execution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace or defense system engineering.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
  • Familiarity with communication bus standards and software/firmware development protocols.
  • Experience with MATLAB is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams for product design and assessment.
  • Proficient in using DOORS, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and reviews.
  • Strong understanding of system engineering processes and avionics systems.
  • Experience in system integration testing and Bid and Proposal activities.
