About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our investment accelerator program as the **Executive Director of Acceleration**. This is a unique opportunity to join a nationally-ranked venture capital firm and accelerator, gener8tor, and contribute to the growth and development of the North Dakota startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and select high-growth startups for our accelerator program, leveraging your expertise and network to identify top talent.
  • Act as the lead mentor and coach for cohort participants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and execute the accelerator program, including logistics, marketing, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with gener8tor staff, external partners, and stakeholders to drive program success and growth.
  • Assist alumni with ongoing mentorship, sponsor, and investor relations, helping them to scale and succeed.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation, with experience in venture-backed companies or venture capital a plus.
  • Total commitment to the North Dakota startup ecosystem and a passion for driving growth and innovation.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including founders, investors, and partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on building trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Flexibility to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
