Job Title: Telecom Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Telecom Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a Telecom Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing job performance, revenue, and expenses within assigned work areas of underground construction or utilities. You will ensure that all work is completed in a safe and effective manner, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train employees, schedule work for crews, and ensure employees follow rules, practices, and policies.
  • Review paperwork, such as dailies, timecards, and billing, to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform pre and post-inspection of jobs, pre-survey work, and place one calls to ensure work is complete and clean up is done.
  • Represent the company with customers, subcontractors, vendors, property owners, utilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed and contribute to company strategies and plans.
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections, gate checks, and Job Safety Observations (JSO) at each jobsite under your supervision.
  • Investigate all accidents and complete accident reports in Intellex within 4 hours of the occurrence.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years utility construction experience.
  • One (1) to two (2) years proven experience supervising employees and managing crews.
  • Able to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Able to proficiently plan, prioritize, and organize workload efficiently.
  • Able to effectively communicate orally or in written form with management, internal, and external customers.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • MVR record deemed acceptable by the company.
  • Able to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, and for emergencies or on-call.
  • Proficient with general computer knowledge and Microsoft Office.
  • Mathematical skills.

Physical Abilities & Exposures:

  • Routinely: stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms to spaces both high and low.
  • Occasionally: lift up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance, long driving, and sitting.

Salary Range: $62,400.00 to $72,800.00/Annually (based on experience)
