Job Summary
This role involves extensive travel, with over 75% of the time spent on the road. As an Advanced Building Automation Expert, you will be responsible for traveling to and assisting customers at all levels of building automation system programming, checkout, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading system-level controller software
- Performing advanced commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices
- Completing all required commissioning documentation
- Keeping management and customers informed of job progress and issues
- Calibrating systems requiring basic electronic test equipment
- Completing administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
- Documenting changes and providing information for as-built documentation
- Communicating with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site
Requirements
- Advanced computer skills (Metasys preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning tools
- Strong documentation acumen
- Good communication and listening skills
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems
- Low voltage/120-volt wiring skills preferred
- A valid driver's license, with no major or frequent traffic violations
Compensation and Benefits
Our competitive salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
