Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support for our residential Real Estate group, as well as the Commercial Group as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the completion of real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, reviewing title reports, assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
  • Prepare and review closing documents and closing reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and obtaining signatures.
  • Utilize lender instructions to prepare HUD/Settlement Statements/CD.
  • Respond to inquiries from all parties involved in a real estate transaction in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record important dates and maintain files.
  • Coordinate closings with all parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a real estate title company or law firm.
  • Knowledge of RESPA, title insurance, and residential or commercial real estate title matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on a team in a dynamic environment.
