Job Summary

DBL Law is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Lending Paralegal to join our team. As a Commercial Lending Paralegal, you will provide critical support to our commercial lending group, assisting with the completion of commercial lending transactions, preparing and reviewing loan and title documents, and coordinating closings with all parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and review closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review loan and title documents, checking for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate due diligence for commercial lending transactions, ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare and monitor transaction checklists, ensuring all necessary steps are taken.
  • Respond to inquiries from lenders, borrower parties, and title companies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record important dates and maintain files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate closings with all parties, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the commercial lending group in achieving its goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending matters, including loan and title documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with lenders, borrower parties, and title companies.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to effectively use software applications to support commercial lending transactions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
