Job Summary:

System One is seeking a skilled MRI Lead to oversee daily operations and ensure optimal department function. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing MRI Technologists, conducting quality assurance projects, and developing exam protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all job responsibilities of Level II MRI Advanced Technologist, including maintaining MR safety and addressing patient safety through proper patient identification and labeling.

• Lead orientation and training for new hires, students, and other medical personnel, ensuring competencies are completed in the required time frame.

• Assist with quality assurance projects and develop exam protocols alongside Advanced Level II MRI Techs, communicating results to departmental leadership.

• Coordinate daily workflow and schedule of the department, maintaining staffing levels based on call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT or ARMRIT or CNMT program or accredited ARDMS program.

• 3 years MRI experience required, with a performance review consistent with minimum of strong/Solid performance on last performance review.

• ARRT Certificate or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance
