MRI Lead Specialist

System One is seeking a skilled MRI Lead to oversee daily operations and ensure optimal department function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing MRI Technologists, conducting quality assurance projects, and developing exam protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all job responsibilities of Level II MRI Advanced Technologist, including maintaining MR safety and addressing patient safety through proper patient identification and labeling.
• Lead orientation and training for new hires, students, and other medical personnel, ensuring competencies are completed in the required time frame.
• Assist with quality assurance projects and develop exam protocols alongside Advanced Level II MRI Techs, communicating results to departmental leadership.
• Coordinate daily workflow and schedule of the department, maintaining staffing levels based on call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
Requirements:
• Completion of formal training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT or ARMRIT or CNMT program or accredited ARDMS program.
• 3 years MRI experience required, with a performance review consistent with minimum of strong/solid performance on last performance review.
• ARRT Certificate or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance.
