Job Description

Prime 55 LLC is seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing staff, maintaining high-quality service standards, and optimizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
    • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff.
    • Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
    • Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Address staff concerns and conflicts, and provide coaching when necessary.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
    • Train staff in customer service etiquette and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food and beverage costs.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
    • Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, expenses, and revenue.
    • Set pricing strategies and menu changes to maximize profitability.
    • Track financial performance and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and advertising campaigns.
    • Utilize social media and online platforms to enhance the restaurant's online presence.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure that food quality and presentation meet or exceed established standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Team Development:
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
    • Encourage innovation and creativity among staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in food handling and safety (e.g., ServSafe) is often preferred.
