Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist Level I to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the effective management of respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, including oxygen delivery and ventilator support, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures and evaluate patient responses to therapy, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilators, ensuring critical care duties are performed with precision.
  • Document therapy and results, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Work independently in emergency settings, performing and evaluating blood sampling analysis with a thorough understanding of values and treatment protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
  • Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
