Job Overview

United Service Companies is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Aviation Cleanliness Technician. This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety in our aviation services.

Position Type: Part-Time - 30 hours per week

Travel Requirement: 20%

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit reliability and a proactive approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Execute tasks as directed by the Supervisor, adhering to the outlined scope of work.
  • Conduct thorough interior cleaning to ensure the aircraft appears "like new" upon completion.
  • Remove all waste from the aircraft.
  • Sanitize and replenish all lavatory supplies.
  • Clean the galley, cockpit, seating areas, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace any soiled reading materials.
  • Report all Lost and Found items to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Follow safety protocols while operating ground equipment.
  • Maintain company vehicles in an orderly and clean condition; assist with pre and post-operation inspections.
  • Review updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before each shift.
  • Ensure cleanliness in break rooms, warehouses, and loading areas, keeping them free of debris.
  • Perform all duties safely, preventing damage to company and airline vehicles/equipment, as well as ensuring the safety of all personnel in shared spaces.
  • Immediately report any injuries or property damage to the Shift Supervisor and provide written accounts as necessary.
  • Alert the Shift Supervisor of any unusual activities that may affect service to airline partners.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must clock in/out at the start and end of each shift.
  • Dependability, initiative, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time is required.
  • Proper uniform attire is mandatory while on duty.
  • Adherence to safety measures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required during shifts.
  • Compliance with the Employee Handbook is expected at all times.
  • Demonstrate respectful and cooperative behavior towards colleagues, airline staff, passengers, and other personnel.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift, reach, and push for extended periods.
  • Walking and navigating stairs is necessary to access aircraft and disposal areas.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat and cold, is common in this role.
