Position Overview and Responsibilities
The State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS) is in search of a dedicated professional to join our Human Resources Division as a Training Services Supervisor. This role is pivotal in fostering a skilled and engaged workforce, aligning with our commitment to support our most valuable asset—our employees.
The Training Services Unit is responsible for identifying effective practices, creating and implementing specialized learning experiences, and recommending development programs offered by external vendors or educational institutions. Under the guidance of the Organizational Development Manager, the Training Services Supervisor will lead the Learning Experience Design team, overseeing the management and creation of comprehensive employee development and training initiatives. This position involves collaboration with the Learning Delivery Manager and various organizational leaders to ensure that training content aligns with strategic objectives and organizational aspirations. Additionally, the role includes spearheading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) training strategies.
Key Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, encompassing both written and verbal communication.
- Proven capacity to swiftly evaluate organizational culture and needs, implementing suitable interventions.

Additional Information:
Employees may be eligible for a salary increase based on performance evaluations.
