Job SummaryWe are looking for dedicated and compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of our clients' homes. As a private duty nurse with Maxim Healthcare Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, each with unique needs and challenges.
Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members to identify potential nursing diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Implement nursing interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies, and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately and thoroughly document patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current Nursing License: Possess a current RN or LPN license in the state where you practice.
- Education and Experience: One year of prior nursing experience, preferably in a homecare or private duty setting.
- Certifications and Training: Current BLS certification and PPD or chest X-ray, as required by state regulations.
- Enteral Feeds: Experience with enteral feeding tubes and management.
- Tracheostomy Care: Knowledge of tracheostomy care and management.
- Ventilator Management: Experience with ventilator management and care.
