Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and support.
- Clinical Judgment: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses, making informed decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Communication: Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions, communicating effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards, revising the plan of care as needed based on evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Priority Setting and Evaluation: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, establishing priorities and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current RN or LPN license for the state in which the nurse practices, current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior nurse experience preferred.
- Enteral Feeds: Ability to administer enteral feeds and manage related equipment.
- Tracheostomy Care: Experience with tracheostomy care and management.
- Ventilator Management: Knowledge of ventilator management and care.
- Full-time and Part-time Opportunities: Available in various shifts, including day shifts, NOC shifts, and 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
